Customer Concerns
Vehicle damage liability was the main concern. We needed visual documentation of both sides of the vehicle at the entrance and exit of the car wash.
Viewing his cameras remotely was crucial for this customer. He owned three car washes and invested in real estate. He needed to see all of his cameras while on the go.
Utilizing their eight vacuums was complimentary for car wash customers. He wanted to have an overview shot of the area in case of property damage or other unforeseen incidents that could occur.
Storage was important. They needed to maintain several months of video clips from the four cameras that were at the entrance and exit of the car wash.
Payment for the car wash was done at a drive through kiosk. You would select your wash from a small touch screen and then make your payment. They needed to capture both the money transaction as well as the drivers face.
Solution
We chose to go with a 2K resolution camera system. The ultra-high resolution would provide detail of the vehicles coming and going in the car wash. Clean sharp images are crucial when fighting a damage claim. Additionally we felt bullet cameras would provide the most versatility in mount placement and provide more of a deterrent against vandalism.
